Discussion Leaders
Each week, two people from our group will be our discussion leaders. The information below provides some ideas and expectations for leading your week's discussion. In addition to the document laying out the discussion leaders' expectations, you will also find two documents below you can use in your planning process and facilitating discussion. The 'barnstorming' document includes some questions to help you think through the readings and identify important concepts and questions for consideration. The 'writing to learn activities' are a list of different writing activities. It may be helpful to identify one or two of these (or other) activities to stimulate, synthesize, and/or reflect on the discussion. Of course, if you have any questions, concerns, or additional ideas, you can always contact Kerri ([email protected]). I am more than happy to assist in your planning process.

Final Project
During the WAC Academy, one of the activities we will be working toward is creating submission to the Digital Archive of Writing Instruction (DAWI). We hope this can be a space to collect and trace individual and group knowledge-making and pedagogical practices for teaching writing across the disciplines.
